How we handle your information.
Effective October 28, 2026
Who we are
This website, blacklionret.com, is operated by Black Lion Alpha, a real estate team at eXp Realty, LLC, 13176 Jefferson Ave, Suite D, Newport News, VA 23608. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Black Lion Alpha.
What we collect
When you submit a request, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, mobile number, preferred contact method, property address and city, the options you select, any note you add, and whether you would like a licensed agent to contact you.
When you subscribe to The Lock and Key, we collect your email address.
Our web host automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the site. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.
How we use it
To respond to your request by the method you chose, to prepare any report you ask for, to follow up about that request, and to send The Lock and Key if you subscribed. We use it to provide real estate services you ask about, and for no unrelated purpose.
Calls, texts and email
We contact you only about your request, using the contact information and method you gave us, and only if you asked a licensed agent to contact you. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or unsubscribe from any email using the link it contains.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
We use trusted service providers to operate: our customer relationship management system, workflow automation, email and document tools, our newsletter platform, and our web host. They process information on our behalf to deliver these services. Your information may also be available to eXp Realty, LLC, our brokerage, as required to supervise real estate activity, and we may disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep request information as long as needed to serve you and to meet our recordkeeping obligations as a real estate team, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing kerry@blacklionret.com or calling 757.872.2358. We will honor your request unless we are required by law to keep the information.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
